Export Orders as Excel/CSV from Shopify

Exporting Shopify orders with all details is important for custom reporting and backup purposes. With DataChamp, you can easily export full order data from the Shopify database. Let's explore what you can export, what makes DataChamp unique, and how to do it.

  1. Create a new report by using the "New Report Button" and choose "Orders".

  2. Click on "Browse" and select all the data you need

  3. Apply filters

If you only want to export certain orders instead of all of them, you can use filters to select the specific data you want to export. To use filters, click on the "Filter" button, select the filter criteria, choose a condition, and enter the values you want. You can use multiple filters for a single export.

  4. Select the File Type & File Name

Decide whether you need a CSV, Excel or TXT file:

  5. Add email notification

You will find this option on the right side under "Settings". Add any email address and provide a custom subject and message. To start with we recommend to send the emails first to yourself.

  6. Save the Report

You can do this by clicking on "Save" in the top right corner.

  7. Start your report

In the dashboard press the "play" icon to start your report.

  8. Add a scheduler

In the dashboard add a scheduler by clicking on the "scheduler" icon. You can run your report automatically each hour, each day or in other intervals.
