Layout

Overview

The layout tab allows you to

  • change the column order,
  • modify the settings of a column
  • and to add custom columns.

Modify column settings

Click on the settings icon next to a column. There are different options depending on whether a column is a number or a text type:

column-settings

Click "Test settings" at the bottom of the settings page to see your changes live.

Add custom columns

For fixed value columns just add a column like in this example:

add-column

You can use the values from other columns: The syntax is: {{column name}}.

Warning

Please be careful here. You must write the exact same name of the column as you can see it in the tab "layout". Pay attention to the spelling and spaces!

Further you can write math expressions. The syntax is: "[[math expression]]".

There are (nearly) no limits. Here are some examples:

[[ 1.2 * ( {{Line items: Weight of product variant}} + 4.5) ]]
[[ sin(45 deg) ^ {{Line items: Quantity}} ]]
[[ {{Line items: Total price}} - ({{Line items: Total discount}}/1.2) ]]

If you need more complex functions, take a look at the function library we use.

Date Formatting Options

Convert date values to any format you need. Set this value only if you need to get formatted date values (e.g. CSV files). Note that if a format is set, the column is formatted as text in Excel (and no longer as a date). To return to the default, simply empty the field.

Here are two examples for a "Date Format":

Use these "tokens" to build your own formatted date:
